I didn’t expect to see results right after my first 1:1 session with Irene! WHY I CREATED THE PROGRAM . . .
Irene Lee
Hi, I’m Irene, the creator behind Curated to Create. I’m also the owner of Rintzylee Designs, an award winning stationery and calligraphy studio based out of Vancouver, BC.
For as long as I can remember, I've always had a thing for building communities. In 2018, I launched Vancouver Lettering Community alongside two calligrafriends, Annabelle and Jo. Our mission was to bring together creatives who all share a passion for the art of calligraphy.
In 2021, I launched Curated to Create for a very simple reason. I noticed many calligraphers were feeling stuck with their business. It was making them doubt their abilities and question their worth. Over and over again, they would worry about how they could have a more consistent flow of clients so that they could feel more successful in their business. The truth is... I understand all those feelings a little too well. In 2020, I was on the edge of wanting to give up my dreams. I finally made the decision to hire a business coach out of desperation. I still remember very vividly (still embarrassing to think about) bawling my eyes out to her on my second session. I told her I couldn't understand why I was feeling like a failure despite doing all the "right" things. My coach guided me in many ways and I had my first break through because of her coaching.
Today, Curated to Create has helped 45 other calligraphers in Canada, USA, Australia, and UK in their entrepreneurial journey. I am so passionate about teaching others that success can be found in many different ways (often in ways we fail to see). I'm also passionate about teaching calligraphers how they can learn important skills of outreach so that they can have a new way of generating leads.
When I'm not working, I can be found cafe hopping, drinking BBT, browsing stationery and book stores, binge watching Kdramas or chasing after one of my 3 kids.
